Dexter revival debuts its first teaser trailer
Dexter has released its first teaser trailer for the highly-anticipated 10-episode season.
Michael C. Hall will return to play the serial killer, 10 years after the original series wrapped up.
"There really is nothing like getting back to nature. My nature," Dexter (Hall) can be heard saying in a voice-over. Watch the full clip above.

The trailer shows an axe that's been firmly planted into a tree trunk in a snowy forest. A fire is raging in the background. Hall's voice suggests he will be back to kill.
The teaser is a subtle reference to the series finale, where Dexter faked his death to escape the police. He later became a lumberjack in the woods.
The cast members confirmed to feature in the revival include Julia Jones, Alano Miller, Johnny Sequoyah, Jamie Chung, Oscar Wahlberg, Jack Alcottand Michael Cyril Creighton.

Dexter ran for eight seasons, between 2006 and 2013. The series followed Dexter Morgan, who was a forensic technician for the fictional Miami Metro Police Department, who leads a parallel life as a serial killer.
The revival will be a closed-ended story, and won't be followed by any more seasons.
"We would only revisit this unique character if we could find a creative take that was truly worthy of the brilliant, original series. Well, I am happy to report that (executive producer) Clyde Phillips and Michael C. Hall have found it," Gary Levine, president of entertainment at Showtime said in a statement in October last year.
