Fifty Shades of Wrong: Dakota Johnson rocked fake pubic hair in flick

New info has emerged about Dakota Johnson's fake pubes used in the racier scenes of the flick and we're a little freaked out.

"[She] had kind of a patch that went over her pubic area," cinematographer Seamus McGarvey revealed at a recent media panel. "And right round her whole body."

Wait, did she wear a weird diaper-shaped merkin? And here we were thinking the 25-year-old star was repping the full '70s vibe.

"We were in the curious situation, in post-production, of adding [pubic hair]," Seamus explained. "I wouldn't say it was one of the highlights of my career, but it certainly was one of the most surreal scenarios."

If a fake pubic patch wasn't awkward enough, Dakota's co-star Jamie Dornan was also sporting a whole "penis pouch" to protect his, erm, manhood.

Seamus also cast a booty double for Dakota's spanking scene in the S&M flick, adding that the whipping was "created via digital imagery".

Geez. Was anything in that film real?!
