Cristiano Ronaldo's girlfriend spotted with giant Cartier 'engagement ring'

Cristiano Ronaldo may have proposed to his girlfriend -- and baby mama -- Georgina Rodriguez.

Rodriguez, 24, was spotted at the World Cup on Wednesday, supporting Ronaldo, 33. But the world spotted something else.

On Rodriguez's ring finger was a huge sparkler, believed to be a £615,000 (approx. $1.1 million AUD) Cartier piece that, according to SunSport, Ronaldo reportedly purchased last month. And her friend was VERY impressed.

According to the Daily Mail, Rodriguez commented on a photo of the ring shared by Cartier, with love eye emojis.

On November 12, 2017, the pair welcomed a baby girl named Alana Martina. Alana is Rodriguez's first child, and Ronaldo's fourth.

Ronaldo is also dad to 8-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo Jr, and 1-year-old twins Eva Maria Dos Santos and Mateo Ronaldo.

The twins were born via surrogacy -- just weeks before Rodriguez announced her own pregnancy -- while Cristiano Jr's mother has never been publicly named.

At the time of his birth in 2010, Ronaldo announced on social media, "With the agreement of the mother, who wishes to remain anonymous, I will have exclusive custody of my son."

It has been widely speculated that, like his twin siblings, Cristiano Jr was born via surrogate.

In 2015, Ronaldo revealed on The Jonathan Ross Show that he plans to tell his son who his mother is eventually.

"When Cristiano is going to grow up, I am always, always going to say the truth to him because he deserves it, because he is my son," he said. "But I am not going to say because people want me to say."
