Céline Dion performs a moving tribute for her mother, who died last week

Céline Dion has returned to stage following the death of her mother Thérèse Tanguay, performing a moving rendition of 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow' in her honour.

The Canadian pop superstar broke down as she belted out the classic tune at her concert in Miami on Friday night.

She shared the emotional performance to Instagram the following day, writing "Je t'aime maman ❤️🌈 - Céline xx..."

Tanguay, known as "Maman Dion" in her native Canada, reportedly died Thursday after months-long, serious health issues, per Entertainment Tonight Canada. She was said to be surrounded by friends and family.

Dion is currently on her Courage World Tour and dedicated all her performances this weekend to her mother.

Tanguay was quite the family matriarch, raising 14 children, including Dion, with husband Adhémar-Charles Dion.

Sharing a black-and-white family photo to Instagram, the 'My Heart Will Go On' singer wrote, "Maman, we love you so much…We dedicate tonight's show to you and I'll sing to you with all my heart. Love, Céline xx…"

Just two days ago, Dion paid tribute to the fourth anniversary of the death of her husband, René Angélil. The successful music producer, who had been with Dion her entire career, passed away from cancer on January 14, 2016 at age 73.

They shared three children: René-Charles Angelil, and twin sons Nelson and Eddy Angélil, both nine.
