Throw your minds back to Thursday morning…Zayn Malik quit One Direction, SJP was serving Tom Hanks some serious shade, and we all thought Cate Blanchett had finally gone full diva as a tense interview moment made its way into the already gossip-greedy hands of the Internet. *Cough* not that we had anything to do with that.

But hey, guess what, you guys? As it turns out, Cate's "diva" moment was actually all part of a hilarious flirty interview with The Project's Jonathan Hyla. Watch them go at it, above.

Contrary to the snappy moment we saw online, the whole interview had a really playful tone, with the pair getting along more than amicably. It's not our fault that Cate has a sassy sense of humour and can dead-pan like a boss…The woman has two freaking OSCARS! Duh.
