Carey Hart’s sweet tribute to Pink, months after facing split rumours

Carey Hart is celebrating Father’s Day in the US by sharing the parenting credit with his pop star wife Pink.

The 50-year-old took to Instagram to share a sweet tribute to his and Pink’s children Willow, 14, and Jameson, nine, as well as give his partner a shoutout. It comes months after the couple faced split rumours.

“I have been blessed with the two most amazing children I could ever ask for. Thank you so much Willz and Jamo for all of the love,” Hart wrote alongside images of his two children.

“By far, my greatest accomplishments are you two. Raising these two humans w/ mama @pink has been my life’s highlight.

“You cooked two great humans, mama. Happy Father’s Day to all the men show up for their kids.”

The pair have been together off and on since 2001, welcoming their daughter, Willow, in June 2011 and son, Jameson, in December 2016.

The couple recently faced rumours that they had once again split, which Pink dispelled with a statement shared on Instagram.

On February 26, the pop star took to the social media platform to share a video slamming the outlets that had reported on her split based on reports from unnamed sources.

“So I was just alerted to the fact that I’m separated from my husband. I didn’t know. Thank you, People magazine, thank you, Us Weekly,” she wrote.

“Thank you for letting me know. I was wondering if you’d also like to tell our children. My 14-year-old and 9-year-old are also unaware.”

She went on to suggest a list of “real news” topics to discuss instead, including the Epstein files, systemic racism, and misogyny in sports.

“Or do you wanna talk about the fact that I got nominated the first year I was eligible for the rock and role motherf---in hall of fame,” she continued.

“Do you wanna talk about my accomplishments or do you only wanna talk about my supposed demise?”

In the caption she reminded her followers that “if you don’t hear it from me, don’t believe the hype.”

Pink and Hart began dating in 2001 before splitting briefly in 2003. In 2004, they got back together, tying the knot in 2006. They went through a brief split in 2008, but reconciled within a few months.
