Caitlyn Jenner has given a special gift to one of the plastic surgeons responsible for her physical transformation.

The 65-year-old gave Dr Harrison H Lee a signed copy of her Vanity Fair cover, in which she revealed to herself for the first time in a glossy Annie Leibovitz shoot.

"To Harrison. Great Job Thank you so much Caitlyn Jenner," the Olympian and reality star signed the cover.

One of Lee's staff members, Vilma, posted the shot to her Instagram.

Lee is one of two Beverly Hills surgeons who performed surgery on Caitlyn. Lee worked on Caitlyn's 10-hour facial feminisation procedure, while Dr Gary J Alter performed work on Caitlyn's body, including breast augmentation.

The surgeons told E! News of Caitlyn's panic attack after the gruelling 10-hour facial surgery and cleared up the rumours of sexual reassignment surgery.

Lee said that Caitlyn healed "remarkably fast" and was "ecstatic" with the results.

However, Lee admitted to New York Daily News his nerves over getting it right for someone so famous.

"I entered (the surgery) with some trepidation of course," he said.

"I figured it was gonna be very challenging because of her celebrity status and the fact that she's going to finally expose herself for [who] she is, and it'll be one of the most judged faces on the planet."

We think they've done a fabulous job!
