Britney Spears seemingly accuses ex Justin Timberlake of using her for 'fame and attention' in since-deleted Instagram post
Britney Spears has seemingly called out her ex-boyfriend, Justin Timberlake, in a scathing Instagram post.
In the since-deleted message, the 40-year-old claimed she was used for "fame and attention" by her nearest and dearest before alluding to her breakup with the former *NSync star.
"Pssss guess what???? I had a calling last night from Jesus and you know what he said???" she began. "'Dear child ... your mom had a serving with her book at the exact time when you needed her most... all for WHAT?? FAME and ATTENTION!!!!"

"Your ex did the same thing ... he served with his first album using your name claiming you did him dirty!!!" she added.
While Spears did not mention Timberlake by name, it was clear she was referring to him and the single he released following their split titled 'Cry Me a River', which implied she was unfaithful in their four-year relationship.

Spears then turned her attention to her little sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, 30, who released a tell-all book this year, Things I Should Have Said, that contained many chapters dedicated to the pop star.
"Then your blood, one of the hardest times in your life guess what you sister does... a book too ... all for what????" she wrote.

Spears and Timberlake were pop music's golden couple when they dated from 1998 to 2002. But they would call it quits after four years together amid claims Spears cheated.
In his music video for 'Cry Me a River', Timberlake featured a model who looked like Spears to play his love interest who cheats on him.
