Britney Spears reportedly caught speeding in September as details of her post-conservatorship plan come to light
There are fresh concerns for Britney Spears as she prepares for a life post-conservatorship.
According to TMZ, the singer was caught speeding in LA in September and was pulled over by police. The outlet reported Spears was in Westlake Village when she was stopped by a California Highway Patrol officer for going 62 miles per hour (100km per hour) in a 40 miles per hour (65km per hour) zone.
The 39-year-old was reportedly let off with a verbal warning.

The incident occurred two months after Spears faced a California judge and detailed the damaging effects her 13-year conservatorship had had on her life. Under the terms, her father Jamie Spears was in charge of all aspects of Britney's life, from her finances to her career.
However, after her powerful testimony, some restrictions in her conservatorship were reportedly lifted to give the singer more freedom, including lifting a ban on her driving a vehicle.

Now, it appears Jodi Montgomery — the singer's former conservator who stepped in when her dad Jamie was battling health issues — has consulted with medical professionals and a judge to outline recommendations to help Spears make a seamless transition back to freedom.

In the documents cited by TMZ, it is recommended Britney's home remains drug and alcohol-free and that she abstains from both. There is also a mental health component to the recommendations — Britney is urged to take her medication and attend regular therapy sessions and appointments with other medical professionals.
