They've shut down rumours of a rift since going public with their romance on November 14, but Bachelorette Angie Kent and Carlin Sterritt's relationship has come under fire yet again after an appearance on Have You Been Paying Attention?.

The pair joined the show as guest quiz masters on Monday, November 18, where the former Bachelorette was congratulated on the release of her new book, If You Don't Laugh You'll Cry.

However, things became tense between the couple when panellist Peter Helliar asked Carlin if he'd read his girlfriend's first novel.

"Not yet, I'm waiting for my signed copy," he admitted, with a laugh.

His response didn't impress Angie, who rolled her eyes and handed him the book, explaining, "This is for you."

The former Gogglebox star has been heavily promoting her first book, which she describes as "not an autobiography because I am only 12, [but] life lessons from your best mate".

"I'm just an everyday gal," she said on Have You Been Paying Attention?. "I've been through some stuff, [so this is] what I've learnt. I'm quite happy with where I am, and everyone needs to love themselves."

These lessons of self-love will be coming in handy for the couple, who've been plagued with rumours of a split, after Angie announced she had no plans to move in with her boyfriend, despite relocating to Carlin's home city of Sydney next year.

"We don't want to live together yet," Angie, who currently lives in the Sunshine Coast, told Vogue. "We just want to have [a] nice, average, normal relationship where we get to go out on a date."

Adding to the pressure, is the news online bookmaker Sportsbet predict the couple will split within 59 days of their debut date, November 14.
