Bachelor in Paradise star Jade Roper gives birth in a wardrobe
Bachelor in Paradise US couple Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert have welcomed a new baby in an accidental home birth.
Jade took to Instagram on July 31, to share the details on how the birth unfolded.
"I accidentally gave birth at home last night, in our master closet," Jade Tolbert wrote captioned an image of her holding her 3.1kg baby boy with paramedics in her dressing room. "I've been still processing the shock of this all, as this was not all at what I had planned."
Jade was watching an episode of The Bachelorette US when her water broke two weeks before her due date. Within 75 minutes, she was cradling her newborn baby.
She continued, "It was one of the scariest moments of my life because I felt so out of control, but Tanner, Tanner's mom, my mom and the medics and firefighters kept me going when I felt like the world was caving in on me and my unborn baby."
Jade concluded, "I was going to share the happy, cute Instagrammable pics first, but this felt right to me. So incredibly grateful for the support system we had and for this beautiful boy I get to hold in my arms."
Jade and Tanner got married in 2016 after meeting on the second season of Bachelor in Paradise US. They are also parents to one-year-old daughter Emerson.
