Filing to court on Friday, Leigh requested David's visits with their five children be suspended, and for "safeguards be put in place to ensure (Koechner's) sobriety," TMZ reports.

The pair were married in 1998 and have five kids together. They filed for divorce in January 2020.

Koechner rose to fame for his role in the Anchorman film series, playing Champ Kind. He is also well known for his role as Todd Packer in the US version of The Office.

He also claims he has driven their children following the arrest, to Leigh's knowledge.
