The shrub plant, officially called a Solanum pseudocapsicum, produces fruit that look like little tomatoes but can cause fever, increased heartrate and vomiting.

The American star shared a clip on Instagram of herself appearing to bite into the fruit after picking it from a shrub off the street, which was behind a fence on what appeared to be a private property.

The bushes of the shrub went through the fence.

"I need your help. I just bit into it as it was on the street and we were discussing if it was a tomato or not. It's not because of the leaves," she said in the clip to her more than 2.8million followers.
