Ada Nicodemou celebrates 40th birthday in Italy with Home and Away co-star

Happy Birthday, Ada Nicodemou!

The much-loved Home and Away star is currently soaking up the Italian sunshine to mark her 40th birthday. And judging by her Insta feed, the actress is going all out!

"Let the celebrations begin," she wrote alongside a picture of two wine glasses clinking, the picturesque cliffside village of Positano forming the backdrop.

She followed up with a series of other happy snaps that showed the Greek-Cypriot brunette marking the special birthday milestone with friends including Home and Away co-star Lynne McGranger, 64.

The much-loved actress, who continues to defy age with her youthful beauty, looked every bit relaxed as she shared drool-worthy pics of local cuisine and beachside selfies.

Ada made her acting debut in the '90s teen drama Heartbreak High before arriving at the Bay in 2000. Her character, Leah Patterson-Baker is one of the soap's longest-running cast members.

Ada shares four-year-old son Johnas with ex-husband Chrys Xipolitas.

The actress continued to document her Italian tour on the social media platform as she made her way from Positano to Capri, before reaching her "40th fiesta" destination in Florence.  

"Our villa for a few days," she captioned a pic of a charming country house in the Tuscan countryside.

The iconic region is known for its sprawling vineyards and dramatic sunsets -- a pretty perfect spot to ring in the big 4-0.

With no sign yet of Ada's new beau, businessman Adam Rigby, something tells us this might be a girls-only event.
