Taylor Swift approves of Gigi Hadid's romance with her ex

Hooking up with your bestie's ex is a definite no go between gal pals. Well, unless you are Taylor Swift that is.

The pop star is said to be totally behind Gigi Hadid's romance with her ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas, who broke her heart back in 2008.

Tay Tay was devastated when he ended their relationship in a 27-second phone call. Well, suppose it's better than a Carrie Bradshaw post-it.

"Taylor has come round to the idea of Gigi dating Joe now," a source  told HollywoodLife.com.

"It’s no secret that Joe broke Taylor’s heart when they broke off their relationship seven years ago. He was Taylor’s first real love, and they didn’t end on the best of terms."

Perhaps 25-year-old Taylor's understanding outlook has something to do with her own romance with Calvin Harris?

The pair have been dating for the past three months. While Gigi and Joe are still playing coy about their romance, failing to publicly announce their new status...despite the endless sources who have.

The source added: “A lot of time has passed since then. Both Taylor and Joe have done a lot of growing up since that time, and they put their breakup woes down to the experience of being in relationships.

"Taylor obviously has Gigi’s best interests at heart, but she’s not worried that Joe will hurt Gigi like he did her."
