Victoria Beckham describes 'dagger to her heart' as Harper says she wants to become a footballer

With three boys and a footballer husband, Victoria Beckham has always been pretty open about the joy of finally having a daughter after Harper was born in 2011.

But in an interview with ABC's Good Morning America Posh confessed that the four-year-old isn't quite the girly girl she had hoped.

In fact, the 41-year-old says she suffered a "dagger to the heart" when Harper revealed she's more interested in football than fashion.

It's perhaps no surprise, with the youngster often spotted kicking a ball with her brothers on David's Instagram. So cute!

The Spice Girl turned fashion designer gave the interview following a successful show at New York Fashion Week.

Talking about her transition into fashion, she said: "People did have preconceptions and I expected that but I wasn't out to prove anybody wrong, I just wanted to prove to myself I could do it."

And prove it she did.
