The Biggest Loser: Daniel Jofre crowned winner after 51kg weight loss

It's been a tough three-month journey, with sweat and tears, but Daniel Jofre has been crowned Australia's Biggest Loser.

Tuesday night's finale saw the three Jofre brothers, including Pablo and Tony, battling it out for the top spot on the hit Channel Ten show.

Daniel, who lost a huge 51kg, walked away with the $100,000 prize money. Watch his winning moment above.

Right from the start,  the 24-year-old showed promise, winning nine of the 12 weekly weighs in and half of the challenges.

If you remember, Daniel was from the family who triggered trainer Michelle Bridges to break down in tears after watching their eating habits, including ice cream for breakfast. You can re-watch the moment below.

But last night, pregnant Michelle was all smiles as her hard work paid off with Daniel.

So, will Daniel stand the test of time and keep the weight off? Well, he's determined to, saying: "The scales don't mean much to me anymore as long as I'm healthy and fit."
