People reckon this cat looks like it has a human face

This is off-putting.

At first glance (if you’ve happened to have not read the headline, that is), this is just a video of a cat.

But when someone points out to you how much this cat looks like it has a human face, you can’t unsee it. 

We mean, look at her - it's just like that time Hermione Granger had a polyjuice potion mishap:

It looks like someone really ticked off a warlock and was sentenced to an eternity of being entombed inside the body of cat, right?

Apparently, this is actually not the result of dark magic, but just a regular, everyday cat.

Here’s what she looked like as a kitten, which really doesn’t do much to dispel rumours that the kitty is the result of a curse:

Her name is Valkyrie and she shot to fame after video of her was posted to the @catsvillcounty Instagram account.

The original clip has only clocked up a little more than 6000 likes after going live two weeks ago, but a repost from LadBible attracted more than 9.1 million views since Friday.

Everyone’s noticing that there’s just something… off about this cat.

“God, she's amazing! Incredible look. Full of wisdom and secret knowledge,” orumbaevazarina said.

“I still would not be surprised if she talks,” @masya_rainbow said.

The cat was for sale on a Russian cattery’s website, but apparently has already been sold.

It is unknown whether the person who bought the cat will attempt to free the human soul trapped inside her body.
