Even the staunchest of dog people are going to emotionally identify with this cat.

Tommy really, really didn't want to drag himself out of bed.

All he wanted to do was lay there in peace and maybe squeeze a nap in.

We can all identify with that.

Who wants to get up out of bed and face the responsibilities of adult life when you can remain horizontal on a soft cushy platform of comfort?

No one.

Not even Cinder-bloody-ella.

But Tommy's damn human insisted on making sure the little fluff ball didn't waste the day dozing around.

He kept banging on, refusing to let the cat fall back asleep.

So Tommy did what any of us would do and covered his ears so he didn't have to listen to his crap anymore.

Childish?

Yes.

But who cares.

It seemed to get the outcome he was after.

The end always justifies the means if "the end" is staying in bed all day.
