Lightning fast brown snake will haunt your dreams
Look, we’re all well aware that Australia as a continent is a dangerous place.
By now, we know that pretty much every creature crawling over the gosh-forsaken clump of rock and sand could seriously maim us if they wanted.
Spiders are toxic.
Kangaroos could clobber you to death
And snakes are venomous as heck (a scientific term, of course).
We know this.
But just look at how fast snakes actually can be.

This zippy brown snake was caught in the Adelaide suburb of Tott Park on a warm summer’s day.
A resident called Snake Catchers Adelaide to capture the little fella, but that proved to be quite a feat.
Ange Broadstock had the task of bagging the brown snake and as you can see from this video, those things are fast than you’d think.

The footage, watched more than 7000 times since Monday, is the stuff of nightmares.
Because it’s not enough that their bite can kill a grown human, but by the looks of things they could outrun one too.
And they don’t even have legs.
Damn Australia, you scary.
