Twitter has announced it has suspended 235,000 accounts for threatening or promoting terrorist acts since February.
The social media giant explained in a blog post in February that it had suspended more than 125,000 accounts since mid-2015.
The new announcement brings the total number of suspended accounts to 360,000.
"We condemn the use of Twitter to promote terrorism and the Twitter Rules make it clear that this type of behaviour, or any violent threat, is not permitted on our service," the company wrote.
Since the clampdown earlier this year, Twitter says it has dedicated more resources to reviewing reported content in a bid to keep response time to a minimum.
It’s increased the number of members on the review team as well as its tools and language capabilities.
The company says it continues to work with law enforcement agencies, non-government groups and anti-violent extremism organisations to fight the promotion of terrorism on its platform but warns "there is no one ‘magic algorithm’ for identifying terrorist content on the Internet".
