Snubbed Tinderer gets her revenge

A contestant on a UK dating show has named and shamed a man who snubbed her when the two were matched on Tinder.

British man Leslie was on Take Me Out last Saturday night and on the hunt for love when he encountered Northern Irish woman Seaneen.

When asked why she had "turned off her light", the show's way of signalling rejection, Seanean reveals she and Leslie had crossed paths before.

"Are you on Tinder, Leslie?" Seanean asks before continuing "I know you're on Tinder [because] you didn't write back."

She was referring to user's ability to write messages to each other on the online dating app after being "matched" with some people not even bothering to respond to a message.

The man can only sheepishly grin silently as host Paddy McGuiness announces the situation as being "hashtag awks", while the other female contestants scoff and applaud.

It's unknown whether Leslie was able to make amends for the snub, but his odds didn’t look good, going by the relish in which Seanean delivered the rebuke.
