Samsung reveals new look Galaxy S7 and S7 phones

Samsung have revealed their all-new flagship smartphone with features added back to the devices that were stripped in the company’s S6 design.

The company attempting to win back fans and lure Apple Iphone customers over to Android.

The phone is water resistant and can be completely submerged for 30 minutes at a time.

The expandable storage that was stripped back in the Galaxy S6 has been brought back, by using a hybrid SIM tray. The S7 can hold up to 200GB of expandable storage.

A new feature will see the phone give its user around-the-clock information without completely draining the battery. 

While it is 1mm larger and heavier than the models before them, designers hope customers will be impressed.

“One millimetre is very little to give up for waterproofing and a bigger battery,” Samsung Australia mobile vice-president Prasad Gokhale said.

Samsung has not reintroduced the removable battery of the Galaxy S5.

Samsung still leads the world in smartphone sales but it still wants to stop the crowds turning to IOS.
