Popular Perth bakery chain collapses after 25 years
A popular Perth bakery chain has collapsed after 25 years in the business.
Barrett's Bakery, which has seven stores selling bread, handmade pastries and cakes across Perth, has gone into administration.
Mervyn Kitay from insolvency firm Worrells was appointed to control the business as of July 27, according to an ASIC notice.

Barrett's Bakery started as a single bakery store back in 1998, before it expanded in 2010 due to its popularity, according to its website.
It has currently stores in Nedlands, Claremont Quarter, Victoria Park, Mt Hawthorn, Perth CBD, Joondalup and Karrinyup.
Barrett's Bakery and the administrator have been contacted for comment.
