Optus customers report wide-spread mobile phone, broadband outage

Dozens of Optus customers have taken to social media to complain the network is down across parts of the country.

Customers reported outages on mobile phones and broadband over the last few hours.

“Optus appear to have a major outage effecting NBN, ADSL and Mobile across NSW,” one user wrote on Twitter.

Others have complained about a lack of service in Victoria and the ACT.

Users are also unable to check their network status on the Optus website, with an error message coming up when they put in their postcodes.
