NASA is gearing up to make a major announcement about Mars tomorrow morning.
The space agency has promised it will release “key” new findings on the fate of the planet’s atmosphere at 6AM Friday (AEDT).
The latest development comes after NASA revealed in September there was flowing water on Mars, increasing the chances of alien life surviving there.
Tomorrow’s press conference will be led by Michael Meyer, the head scientist for the Mars Exploration Program at NASA headquarters.
News of an announcement has led to avid speculation online about what it might entail.
NASA astronauts have done little to downplay the anticipation, tweeting that it will be “exciting”.
