Myer to axe staff at 42 of 67 stores: report
AAP
Myer will axe staff at 42 of its 67 shops through a voluntary redundancy program as the department store giant overhauls its operations.
The company will look to reduce the number of permanent staff in favour of casual staff, The Australian and the Australian Financial Review say.
Myer says the move is designed to give it the flexibility to reduce staff hours during quieter periods.
