The hackers behind the Ashley Madison leak have struck again, this time purportedly releasing the personal emails of the company’s CEO.

The new dump of stolen information includes a file which appears to be a 12.7 GB email file belonging to Noel Biderman.

Mr Biderman is the CEO of Ashley Madison’s parent company Avid Life Media and seems to have been personally targeted.

“Hey Noel, you can admit it’s real now,” a message accompanying the leaked information read.

The note follows Mr Biderman’s assertion this week the published stolen data was predominantly fake.

The file is among 20GB of new data, double the initial leak which exposed the personal information of users on the infidelity matchmaking site.

Sydney and Melbourne were among the cities with the highest number of users for the service, which uses the tagline, “Life is short. Have an affair.”

More than 700 Australian government email accounts were found in the leaked data by website anongalactic.com, while the US military is investigating whether officials used their professional identities on the website.
