Google browser extension transforms Donald Trump and Cabinet into kittens
Donald Trump's cabinet were all replaced with kittens in an article published by the New York Times.
Thousands of internet users tired of seeing Donald Trump’s face plastered online have embraced an option to replace all photos of him with pictures of kittens, via a browser extension.
The Google Chrome extension is called ‘Make America Kittens Again’, a play on the President-elect’s campaign slogan.
The tool locates Mr Trump’s name in headlines and then replaces all images attached to the article in question with images of kittens.
The extension is still in its early days and has some bugs, which has left some users disappointed at Mr Trump “sneaking” back into their feeds.
It reportedly works particularly well on The New York Times website, where it replaced images of Mr Trump and all his Cabinet picks with images of cuddly felines.
“I love the idea but it doesn't always work. I tried four different websites (The Atlantic, local news, etc.) It kind of works on the NY Times website,” one reviewer wrote.
“Giving it 3 because it's a great idea but I have not gotten it to work at all yet,” another wrote.
