CSIRO chief offers update on 2020 strategy

The head of Australia's peak scientific body, the CSIRO, will deliver an update on the organisation's future strategy in Sydney.

CSIRO chief executive Dr Larry Marshall will discuss the role the organisation is playing in growing Australia's future prosperity, through science-driven strategy delivered with the help of industry and business.

CSIRO's 2020 strategy focuses on agriculture and food, energy, mineral resources, manufacturing, land and water, oceans and atmosphere and health and biosecurity.

Dr Marshall will speak at Barangaroo at noon on Tuesday.
