Young Nationals back gay marriage
AAP
The NSW Young Nationals have voted in favour of same-sex marriage.
The motion, passed at a conference in Corowa, is the first endorsement of marriage equality by a youth division of a conservative party in Australia.
The weekend conference noted that a young homosexual man living in regional NSW is six times more likely to commit suicide than members of the community as a whole.
