Young boy hit by car on NSW Central Coast

A young boy was flown to Westmead Children's Hospital in Sydney this afternoon after being hit by a car on the NSW Central Coast.
The accident happened in West Gosford at about midday.
NSW Ambulance paramedics provided initial treatment at the scene before helping the boy to a Careflight helicopter where he was further assessed and taken to hospital in a stable condition.
