Xie trial date in Sydney still to be set

A new trial date for the man accused of carrying out the Lin family murders is yet to be set.

The jury in Lian Bin "Robert" Xie's high-profile trial was discharged this week after new evidence came to light.

The matter returned to the Supreme Court on Thursday for mention, but a further trial date was not fixed.

The matter will return to court on June 23.
