Man dies under forklift in workplace accident

A man has died in a shocking workplace accident in Sydney.

The site in the city's south-west was locked down after the man died this afternoon.

The victim, aged in his 30s, became trapped beneath a forklift just after 1pm.

Emergency crews responded to the scene at the Chipping Norton worksite, but paramedics were unable to save the man.
