Work for Dole program to keep name

The federal government is not about to change the name of its Work for the Dole program, despite some complaints about its unhelpful stigma.
The department says this was the view of just 36 participants and six providers who were part of focus groups.
Employment Minister Michaelia Cash told a Senate estimates hearing in Canberra on Thursday the government is not considering a change at this point.
