Perth prison placed into lockdown after meth found
A Perth women's prison has been sent into lockdown, after raids uncovered stashes of drugs.
More than 100 corrections officers flooded Bandyup prison this morning, searching the grounds with sniffer dogs.
The full-scale lockdown was ordered after a weekend bust netted crystals, cannabis and syringes hidden inside the jail.

Nine inmates tested positive for methamphetamine last week, with a 10th failing her test today after the lockdown searches. 9News

A small bag of white powder was also found during this morning's search.
"There is no tolerance for drugs in our prisons," Corrective Services Commissioner Tony Hassall said.

"The prisoners that tested positive for substances will be offered counselling, but they'll also face consequences for their actions by going in front of a visiting magistrate."
Police are investigating how the drugs got inside.
