Woman thrown into the air as bus brakes suddenly

CCTV has been released of a nasty fall on board a Sydney bus.

The passenger aboard the Naremburn service was trying to change seats when the driver braked suddenly, causing her to become airborne.

Cameras captured the moment she was flung into the front of the bus.

Fellow passengers were reduced to tears following the incident, which happened last year.

There were more than 5000 safety related incidents on the NSW transport system last year alone, which has prompted the State Government to launch a new awareness campaign.

In another alarming incident, a mum watched on in horror as a pram rolled onto the track's at West Ryde station.
