Sydney man charged with attempted murder

A man has been charged with attempted murder after he allegedly stabbed his partner during a night out at a Sydney pub.
The 46-year-old man allegedly stabbed the woman in her abdomen and shoulder at the hotel in Hornsby in Sydney's north on Saturday night.
Police say the domestic broke out in the hotel's gaming room.

The victim was treated at the scene before being taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious condition.
Meanwhile, he was arrested near the hotel and taken to Hornsby Police station.
He has since been charged with attempted murder and wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and will appear at Parramatta Bail Court on Sunday.
