Woman charged after allegedly running down daughter and dragging her for 100 metres
A 58-year-old woman has been charged after allegedly running down her daughter in a car and dragging her for 100 metres in Sydney's south.
Just after 12am on Sunday, outside a 21st birthday party held at the family home, 27-year-old Keely Palmer was struck by a Toyota hatchback on Ash Avenue, Caringbah South and dragged down the road.
She was pinned under the car for more than 90 minutes while paramedics and rescue crews worked to free her.
She was reportedly conscious throughout the ordeal.

She was eventually dislodged just after 2am and taken to St George Hospital in a serious condition with compound fractions to her right arm and leg.
"She was just bellowing, crying, screaming. It was pretty shocking," neighbour Amber Wardrop-Barros told 9News.
"You could just hear screaming… they were saying 'can someone get a jack, can someone get a jack?'
"So, I thought maybe someone was stuck under a car."

Her mother, Dale Palmer, was subject to a roadside breath test at the scene, which allegedly returned a positive result.
She was then taken to Sutherland police station for further breath analysis, where she allegedly returned a blood-alcohol reading of 0.166.

"There was a party there throughout the evening, but as to the reasons why she was in the vehicle they are unknown at this point of time," NSW Police Chief Inspector Gary Ford told 9News.
"Her reading of .166 will be the alleged reading for that breath test."
Mrs Palmer was charged with aggravated dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm (PCA), and high-range PCA.
The daughter has taken out an apprehended violence order against her mother.
Her mother's licence has been suspended and she has been granted conditional bail to appear in Sutherland Local Court next Wednesday.
