Woman's body found in Sydney backyard

An elderly woman's body has been found in the backyard of a southwest Sydney home.

Police say they are treating the death as suspicious.

The discovery was made at a home in Villawood on Friday afternoon.

A crime scene has been established and investigations are continuing, police said.
