Woman indecently assaulted near train station in Sydney’s west

A woman leaving a train station in Sydney's west has been indecently assaulted by a man who asked her for a cigarette.

Authorities say the 29-year-old woman was on O’Neil Street near Guildford Railway Station about 8.30pm last night when she handed the man a cigarette.

He then indecently assaulted her before running away.

Police have described the man as being of Indian/sub-continental appearance, aged in his early 30s with a short beard.

He was wearing a brown or grey zip jacket with a dark top underneath.
