Woman in hospital after alleged attack outside Port Adelaide hotel

A woman is being treated in hospital for head injuries after she was allegedly bashed in Port Adelaide.

Police say she was attacked by two other women outside the Palais Hotel in Semaphore at 1.30am today.

Security staff held one of the alleged offenders until police arrived but the other ran off.

The arrested woman is facing charges of aggravated assault.
