Woman injured as brewery wall collapses on car

A woman in her 30s is in hospital after a section of a building collapsed on her car today.

The driver is believed to have been inside the car when a large number of bricks fell from a wall on the third storey on to her car.

The incident happened in North Fremantle at around 1pm, and a second car – fortunately empty – was also crushed.

Ambulance officers said the woman suffered multiple fractures but was conscious after being rescued.

It is not known what caused the section of wall to collapse.
