Woman hit by tram in Melbourne CBD

A woman has been hit by a tram in Melbourne’s CBD this morning.
Emergency services are at the scene on the corner of Collins Street and Spencer Street just before 8am following reports of the collision.

The woman has been taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Ambulance Victoria told 9NEWS.
She has not suffered any major injuries, and is in a stable condition.
It is believed she was not paying attention to the road as she crossed the tracks.
Route 11 and 48 trams between Elizabeth Street and Docklands were stopped as a result of the incident but have since resumed.
