Woman dies after accident in WWII bunker on walking track
A young woman has died after falling at a lookout in Sydney's north while out for a walk with a friend early this morning.
Emergency services were called to bushland at North Head Sanctuary in Manly about 6.15am, and when they arrived found one woman, aged 20, with severe head trauma.
Her friend, also aged 20, had tried to revive her using CPR but she died at the scene.

The woman was dangling from the roof of a WWII bunker when a chunk of concrete broke off, hitting her in the head.
Acting Inspector Stuart Byrnes said it was a "very sad accident".
He said helicopters were used to find the local women in the national park.
"It's bushland, it's not easily accessible and its inhospitable," he said.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
The track is now closed to the public until it can be determined to be safe.
