Woman dead after house fire south-east of Melbourne
A woman is dead after a house fire south-east of Melbourne.
Emergency services were called to the home in Emerald at about 2.40am.
The woman, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.

Another woman and a man, who were inside the home at the time, were able to escape uninjured.
An investigation is underway but the fire is not believed to be suspicious.
