Woman charged with Vic murder

A woman has been charged with murder over the death of a man in Melbourne's east.

The victim, aged in his 40s, was found dead with an apparent stab wound at an address in Berkley Street, Ringwood, about 8.30pm on Saturday.

A female was arrested at the scene and was on Sunday charged with one count of murder.

She has been remanded in custody to appear in Melbourne Magistrates Court on Monday for a filing hearing.

It is believed the two knew each other.
