Woman charged with murder after Cairns death
A 25-year-old woman has been charged with murder after a death in north Queensland yesterday.
Police were called to a Joan Street address in Bungalow yesterday at about 3.35pm.
They found a 67-year-old woman with a major head injury.

Emergency services tried to revive her, but she died at the scene.
Police have now charged a 25-year-old Cairns North woman with a domestic violence murder.
She will appear in court later next month.
