Woman charged over One Arm Point murder

A 44-year-old woman has been charged with murder after a stabbing at a remote community in northern Western Australia.

On Sunday afternoon, police were called to the One Arm Point community near Dampier after a 20-year-old man was found unconscious.

Medical staff attempted to revive the injured man, but he died shortly after.

The 44-year-old woman from the community, who is known to the victim, was taken into custody.

On Tuesday, police said the woman had been charged with murder and would appear in the Broome Magistrates Court later that day.
