Woman charged over alleged stabbing murder of man at Thomastown home

A woman has been charged with murder after the stabbing death of a man in Melbourne's north.

The 67-year-old man was found critically injured at an apartment on Main Street in Thomastown at around 10pm on Saturday night and died in hospital.

A 27-year-old woman was charged with his murder last night and is due to appear in the Melbourne Magistrates Court today.

A 45-year-old man who was taken into custody on Saturday night has since been released without charge.
